Unusual vintage Angostura Aromatic Bitters Bottle with brown ( Bakelite ??) dasher top and cover. Dasher Top is embossed with Angostura Aromatic Bitters There is nothing on the label to indicate volume but it appears to be the same size as the later 8oz bottles. 78% Proof and the label says “By Appointment to King George V1” who died in February 1952 so possibly dates from late 1940s. Some of the contents remain in the bottle but if sending it by post I will have to empty it out and I wouldn’t consider it fit for consumption after all these years. Part of the top of the label has been torn and is missing. Please see photographs.
